Resume

5 stations and 1 production house for 6 years of working experiences minus internship, quite an achievement ha?? My longest working period is from Dec '06 until NOW. 4 years and counting...! They should give me an award for it for sure!

My 1st real JOB was with ASTRO. Contract basis. Offered when i was still doing my internship. Alhamdulillah. Once you have 1 leg in, it's easier to pull the other one. I did two shows at that time. NADI KL hosted by Fahrin Ahmad and X-FRESH TV- one of the hosts is Lisa Surihani. No TRAVELLING what so ever because the shows is mainly shot in KL. Boringg!! After 2 months, my ex-producer from my internship offered me a permanent job at CH 9. OMG!! I love CH 9. How can I resist such an offer. So, as you can guess, I recieved the offer. I had a LOVELY 5 months until they shut the station. 4 precious friends I met (Shah, Leha, Anne and Fetd- Fetd is my colleague from my college years but we're not that close though, but everything's change in CH 9 by the power of LOVE). And the best part is we're still contacting each other. I was Fetd's 'maid of honor'. PENGAPIT lahh kalau kawen orang Melayu. Leha is now hosting at RTM. Anne dah ngikot lakinya ke Doha. Shah, ni nak cite kat bawah ni...

Malaysia lah!! Dengan "RAAGA" attack akan menghukummu...!!!!!

Jobless for about a month, I got the offer from RTM. Shah is already there and hosted a show (I can't remember what's the name of the show) And, I did "AVON-Wanita Bergaya & Berjaya" hosted by Atiqah Adom. Out of KL once to someplace I can't remember probably in Kelantan. And that was it. I was 'berkepit' with Shah for 7 months before I decided to make a better living (At that time, the payment was so 'ciput'). Fetd was already worked at a new station so I decided to follow her footsteps.
My last show was Seleksi 1 and it's not an entertainment show as it sounds.

2 working days and 2 off days alternately with a better payment. Not bad! It was a new station. Owned by a BIG company in Malaysia. Cable TV. I was EDITOR for a year so I stuck in the office. AND we still have a court case together. Lovely lovely way to ended up a relationship lol!! One year of fun time playing UNO cards behind a big pillar in the office, we finally got terminated. And it's not because of UNO cards.

My face was on Buletin Utama that night. I don't realize it until I got a phone call from Shah's former boss to offer me a job at a production house (Piperace Sdn Bhd). The power of media la konon... Alhamdulillah lah... nak kate ape lagi ye dak...?? So, I grab the chance. One day after I said "YES" to him, Shah called me and offered me a job at TV9 (Yes, he always in the picture). There will always a good THINGs happen when you learn to say YES. So, I guess that's why I love the movie, YES MAN! Already gave my YESes to another man, I waited one month before I chioww.. That was after I finished my part in that production.

And tadaaaa..........!!!! Dec '06 and counting... From TV9 to Primeworks Studios (Basically it's the same thing, they created the studios to jammed up all the production people together and serve the stations under Media Prima)

Here is all the magic begin....!!!!

And here I am now...!!!

Spread my WINGS and learn to fly

After SPM '00, I went to KL to persue my study. Always wanted to be a SOUND ENGINEER since I was 16 after watching this movie that you don't want to know... BUT unfortunately the fee is too expensive and my family could not afford it. So went through all the pamplet and college brochure (I'm an everage student so I din't get  into Uni or maybe cuz I don't realy know how to fill up the form properly thanks to my very helping teachers but then again I'm not a teacher's pet myself, been slapped in my last year at school  infront of the chemistry lab ACROSS the teacher's room while playing 'JAMBATAN MERAH SUDAH ROBOH' so i can't blame anybody here rite??) 3A's out of 9 subjects are not that bad for a science stream student like me duhh!! It's their lost anyway. SO, as I was looking, saw this one college that has an AUDIO course for 2 semesters. Oh yeah!! That's it for me!

Ok.. here is the movie that had inspired me... don't laugh ok...

Malaysian Institute of Integrative Media (MIIM) here I come! Spent the most HAPPENING+FUN+AWESOME 2 years of my life!! And after a few repeat paper, I finally got my DIPLOMA hahahhahaa!!!

After college was so-so for me. Real life is just began! Boring!! It was though to find a job at first. REAL though!! I started to have this bad feelings (I used so much of my family's money and I can't pay them back. Eventhough I have a loan with PTPTN it's still can't cover my whole college fees so my family have to topup their money and now I'm BLACKLISTED thanks to my responsible act to pay them (PTPTN) back monthly). So, I joinned this one short course just to get the monthly allowance lol! 5days a week for 5 months were cool for 500bucks. And I learned business lol!!

It's not that bad actually. 2 months in classroom plus 3 months internship and I can do practical in my own field and not some 'pasaraya' to practise business heh! CH9 was my first station. AWESOME station I would say because the office was so warm with so many good-heartedly people where you can 'lepak' together with the managers and have some ciggies UNTIL the new management came and destroyed the station with "RAAGA" attack!

No travelling going on when I was there because I was in CREATIVE SERVICES department and travelling is not required heh!

First STEP

Jan 11- It never occured to me to start blogging. Doesn't like writing that much though but for this particular one i just have to do it. I'm a big fan of all this stupid-funny-movie but the movie is not JUST stupidly funny, sometimes it has the most excellent food-to-my-soul-fruit-for-thought when come to "THINK" of it. That's another thing that i don't like to do heh!

Watched this movie (Yes Man!) for how many times i can't remember, i ended up "THINK"ing, am i just like one of those characters played by Jim Carrey.  Hmm... Always says no to almost everything. "NO" to an invitation to lunch by colleague (and now she labels me as 'kekwat' = snob). "NO" to teh tarik time at mamak stall. "NO" to fun time at batting cage games (she ended up by herself there picturing the balls as my face maybe...). "NO" to a picnic set up by friends. "NO" to window shopping at the mall. "NO" to bla bla bla and blaaa.....

And i ended up "THINK"ing, why? What ever happended to me? Where's the fun girl inside me? Who's responsible for this? When does it starts? How's my life going to be? All the 5W1H Q's appeared. Starting from that MOMENT I'd tried to shut my BRAIN down so that i dont have to "THINK". So, moral of the story is don't "THINK"! Period!! LOL!!! Oh yeah! I know i'm easily get deflected. That's not the point obviously... *wink*

Actually, I have this crazy-awesome-ideas to go backpacking all around the world since i was a lil' girl. That's my dream. My AWESOME dream! And I want to say "YES" for a change! Been brought up in lower-midle-class-income's family, i rarely experienced a family holiday. We have 14 states in Malaysia and i only had a chance to go to 3 of them, can you imagine?? Selangor is where I live, Perak is my grandparents' place and KL is where all my other family members scattered around. So maybe there, where i built up all this craziness about touring the world. Always "makan hati" hearing all those family holiday's stories, i want something better for myself!

Time goes by, being blessed by working in Television Industry, I finally had a chance to fly on airplane for the first time in 2007 when I was 24 years old. Hehhee... It was super fun!!! The sky is more beautiful from up there. The shape and form is just superb...

Kuching, Sarawak was my 1st destination...
